JACK KEROUAC
In one of the central works of the great beat writer, Kerouac writes about his discovery of Buddhism and its first law: "life is suffering", as it was during these years that he felt most like a failure for not finding a publisher. Taking place in California, its pages contain portraits not only of Kerouac but other very recognizable names such as Allen Ginsberg, Laurence Ferlinghetti and Gary Snyder.
